Marshall was born and raised in Conway, South Carolina.  He is a graduate of University of South Carolina - Darla Moore School of Business (1998) and a graduate of the University of South Carolina - School of Law (2001).  Marshall is married to his high school sweetheart, with two adult children and two grandchildren.  He has been in Horry County his entire life with the exception of the nine (9) years he was in Columbia, South Carolina beginning his legal career as a legal assistant/paralegal and obtaining his undergraduate and law school education.  Marshall's family has been in the real estate development business in Horry County for more than a century and real estate is Marshall's passion.  He is a licensed South Carolina Real Estate Broker and began his Real Estate Career in the late 1980's and has been involved in the purchase and sale of residential and commercial real estate for more than thirty (30) years.  He has served on the boards of many charitable organizations in and around Horry County, South Carolina.  Marshall is admitted to practice law in South Carolina and maintains an office in Downtown Conway just a few blocks from the Horry County Government and Judicial Center.
